Mt. Kailash and Manasarovar Pilgrimage
Located in the remote and far reaches of the western region of Tibet, Mt. Kailash is the holiest mountain in the world. Revered by over a billion Hindus and millions of Tibetan Buddhists, Jains and Bonpo as the center of the universe, Mt. Kailash has proven a great enigma for adventurers throughout the ages. For modern day travelers, it offers an adventure unparalleled by anything else in this life… and quite possibly the next.
The leadesr of the journey: Yoga & Reiki Master-Dr. Chetnah Adhikari (Yogi Anand)
Yogi Anand has been running pilgrimage treks to Mt. Kailash and nearby Lake Manasarovar for 3 years.
Being involved in Yoga practice since 1989, Dr. Adhikari received yoga trainer’s training from yogi Vikasanands in 2000 in Kathmandu. He obtained the titles of Doctor of Naturopathy and Dr. of Yoga in 2001 from school of Natural Therapeutics from Gorakhpur, India. In 2002 he got masters degree in Reiki From Yogi Vikasananda. He stared Reiki – Yoga clinic at Thamel, Kathmandu the same year and he has been working as an in-charge of the clinic since then.
Dr. Adhikari ran yoga programs on channel Nepal television three days a week from 2003 to 2004 for two years. He has been working as a yoga trainer in different programs organized by banks, schools and clubs on various occasions. He offered yoga training in Lhasa, self governed state of China, in 2006 for 8 months similarly, Dr. Adhikari has been organizing seminars in some European countries such as Germany, Italy and Austria on Yoga, Meditation and Reiki.
Dr. Adhikari is one of the key members of psycho revolution campaign launched by Dr. Yogi Vikasananda. The campaign has organized Yoga, Reiki and various programs of life philosophy throughout Nepal and Europe.

Outline Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu and transfer to hotel: (1300m)
You will arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport as per your flight schedule. One of our airport representatives will receive and transfer to your hotel where you will receive a briefing on immediate arrangements.
Day 02: Explore the best of Kathmandu (1300m)
A full day sightseeing journey will enable you to explore not-to-miss UNESCO enlisted Cultural and Historical World Heritage Sites (Kathmandu, Pashupatinath, Swayambhunath and Boudhanath).
Trek briefing and preparations
No matter how experienced a trekker, hiker or mountaineer you are; you will always find it worthwhile to attend the briefing session to gain some pre-departure information on preferred areas, trail conditions, physical demands, tips and safety precautions, challenges that may occur during the trek, and local cultures, customs and taboos.
Leave Nepal
Day 03: Drive to Nyalam (3700m)
It takes approximately 3 hours to reach Kodari. After completing border formalities; you be driven to Nyalam. You will spend overnight in very basic guesthouse.
Day 04: A day rest to acclimatize (3700m)
It is very important to rest for acclimatization purposes. You will also have time to explore Nyalam. You will stay overnight in the same guesthouse.
Day 05: Drive to Saga (250 km.) (4500m)
We start our driving journey to Saga after breakfast, enjoying the grand view of Mt. Shishapangma (8021m), Gauri Shanker and other high mountains from the Lalug La (5050m.) Pass. Packed lunch will be served at sacred Lake Pigutso and you will overnight in a guesthouse in Saga.
Day 06: From Paryang to Lake Manasarovar (4588m)
The auspicious day for all travelers having first glimpse of the holy Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash from the Horr Chu pass .Camp on the shores of Lake Manasarovar.
Day 07: Rest and explore around the Manasarovar (4588m)
It is your day to explore and rest around holy Mansarovar Lake. You will take a holy dip in the lake and be stunned by the grand view of Gurlamandata Mountain with explorations of Holy Buddhist monasteries
Day 08: Drive to Darchen (4700m)
You will drive to Darchen via Rakshas Lake and Chiu Gompa. It is also the day to prepare for the kora. Overnight stay will be in basic guesthouse.
Day 09: Darchen-Diraphuk Gompa (4900m)
This is the kora starting day. You will drive to Tharboche and begin the kora to Diraphuk. Overnight stay will be in guest house owned by monastery.
Day 10: Trek to Medicine Buddha (4850m)
Second day of holy circle is the challenging day that every pilgrim talks about. You will camp next to Medicine Buddha Mountain near by Zuthulphuk Gompa crossing the Dolma La (5600m).
Day 11: Trek to Tangsar and drive to Paryang (4588m)
After breakfast, we trek around 12 km. to end the kora near Darchen. After lunch we drive to Paryang visiting Tirthapuri.
Day 12: Drive back to Nyalam
Day 13: Drive to Kathmandu: night stay at hotel
Day 14: Trip conclude
Lhasa Extensions
Day 12: Drive to Lhatse via North route and overnight in hotel
Day 13: Drive to Gynsete Visiting Tashilumpo monastery in Shigatse and Khumbum stupa in Gyntse
Day 15: Drive to Lhasa via Yamdrok Tso lake and crossing Khamba la and Karo la.Overnight In hotel
Day 16/17: Lhasa Exploration Day , Visit Potala palace, Jokhang temple and Bhakhor Market,Sera and Deraphung monastery with Nurbulingha-summer palace.
Day 18: Fly To Kathmandu; Enjoy the Breathtaking views of world highest mountains. Transfer to hotel
Day 19: Trip concludes
