Muktinath Pilgrimage tour takes you to the high Himalayas in Nepal. Muktinath is considered as a place of liberation or Moksha. The goal of meditation is to attain final liberation. There is no other place more sacred for meditation than Muktinath. Muktinath is also home to Saligram Sila, a holy stone considered to be a form of Lord Bishnu. So, the temple is Vaishnav (Hindu) origin. However, it is equally revered as a Buddhist pilgrimage site.
Muktinath (3,710m) is located at the Thorong La Pass ( and provides spectacular view of Annapurna Mountains and Tibetan Pleateau.
It is believed that Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava, the great Buddhist master) meditated in Muktinath on his way to Tibet. This place is mentioned several times in Hindu and Buddhist Scriptures. Every pilgrim who visits Muktinath comes back with much positive energy, peace, love and harmony. In Nepal, there is a tradition that everyone should visit Muktinath for three times, if not, for at least once.

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu (1,400m)
Welcome to Nepal. Our representative will meet you at the airport and arrange your transfer to your hotel. We will meet in the evening for dinner and briefing of our pilgrimage activities.
Day 2-3 : Cultural tour in Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu Valley is home to 7 world heritage sites. Among them, Pashupatinath and Swayambhunath Temple are considered culturally important for both Hindus and Buddhists. We will also visit the historical Durbar Squares, Boudhanath and Changunarayan Temple in the valley.
Day 4 : 7-hour drive to Pokhara
We will drive to Pokhara with scenic views of hills and Trishuli River on our right. Once at Pokhara, we will explore the lakeside in the evening.
Day 5: Pokhara Sightseeing Tour
Pokhara is naturally rich in water resources, forest and abundance due to the blessing of Annapurna Mountain Ranges in the north. We will transfer to our hotel and spend this and next day exploring the spiritual and famous centers in Pokhara.
Tibetan Refugee Camp, Peace Pagoda, Davis Falls, Fewa Lake boating, and Mahendra Cave exploration will all be spiritually enlightening.
Day 6: 6-hour drive from Pokhara to Tatopani
Today, we will drive towards Tatopani, a village named after the hot-spring in the region. At Tatopani, we will transfer to our hotel. Later, we will enjoy the natural hot water spring in the region.
Day 7: 4-hour drive to Muktinath
We will drive from Tatopani to Muktinath Temple. It takes about 4-hours We will transfer to our hotel once in Muktinath. We will resort at one of the hotels located near the temple.
Day 7: Explore Muktinath
We will wake up early morning and visit Muktinath temple and get spiritually energized. The temple has two holy ponds and 108 holy sprouts. Hindus believe that taking dip in the pond and holy sprout wash all the sins and find salvation. We will spend the whole day exploring the temple & nearby monastery, and involve in meditation.
Day 8: 1-hour drive to Jomsom
After morning breakfast, we will drive towards Jomsom in the morning. Explore Jomsom for the day.
Day 9: Flight to Jomsom and Pokhara
We will take a 15 minute flight to Pokhara. From Pokhara, we will take another 25 minute flight back to Kathmandu. Once in Kathmandu, we will transfer to our hotel.
Day 10: Departure:
We will arrange your transfer to the airport for your departure as per your schedule.
